As you slowly climb the hill of Bongsu-ro in Yeonje-gu, Busan, you will come across a welcoming banner and a Buddha statue welcoming you with a bright smile.

Mahasa Temple is a Jogye Order temple first built during the Silla Dynasty, and is one of the first temples in Busan. The temple building was completely burned down during the Imjin War, but it was gradually restored over the 18th and 19th centuries.
Every year, a new and diverse wellness program is held to help you achieve a balance in your physical, mental, and social health through various experiences such as meditation and temple food therapy in a quiet and deep mountain.
When you feel stuffy and busy,
When you wish to be filled with wisdom and compassion,
How about spending some time inhaling and exhaling at Mahasa Temple?
